Painting, for me, is a long conversation with creation.
It is where I explore light, colour, creatures, people, and the quiet atmosphere that seems to live between the visible and the unseen. My work moves through different visual languages, narrative, symbolic, and representational, because life itself rarely stays in one form for long.
Much of what I paint is shaped by a personal search for God. I am drawn to the moments where the natural world feels like it is speaking in a deeper language: a shaft of light across water, the gaze of an animal, a landscape that seems to hold a quiet presence.
These moments feel like small windows where heaven and earth briefly touch. Painting allows me to slow down and listen to that language. Sometimes the work comes easily; other times it arrives through long wrestlings before the image finds its form. Either way, the canvas becomes a place where the struggles and beauty of life are offered up and transformed.
Over the years, my work has increasingly leaned toward the language of creation itself, animals, landscape, and atmosphere, exploring how the physical world can reflect the majesty and mystery of its Creator.
If the paintings offer anything, I hope it is this: a pause. Moments of stillness or a reminder that beauty, light, and meaning are never as far away as we think.
